Kentucky Ladies are not the only ones who wear their best hats on Derby Day. The Next Derby Day Ride will be the 12, 20, 30, 0r 40 from Freeman Park on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Details to follow.
May Blessing of the Bicycles/Ride of Silence
The Blessing of the Bicycles is a growing tradition, especially in urban areas, to ask God’s blessing on all who share the roads.
In BGLOB it accompanies the Blessing of the Bicycles with the Ride of Silence, when cyclists all over the globe take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.
The next Blessing of the Bicycles, Ride of Silence will take place on May 18, 2022 at Circus Square, BGKY, time TBD.

Kentucky Cycling Challenge
Kentucky Cycling Challenge, a series of century (and shorter) rides organized by Bike Walk Kentucky. https://bikewalk.ky/

Cave Country Trails is not a ride, but a set of documented rides in Cave Country.

Bike MS: Bike to Jack and Back 2021
The annual “Jack and Back” MS Fund Raiser has been a popular ride for BGLOB members.
Ride begins at Page High School in Franklin, TN and goes to (surprise) the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN.

April Tour de Lou
Tour de Lou(isville) is a Kentucky Derby Festival event taking Place on the Sunday two weeks before the Kentucky Derby April 18, 2021). It is organized by the Louisville Bicycle Club and includes a 62.1 Metric Century, 35 Mile Experienced Ride, and a 20 mile Ride.
September 11 KCC Limestone Cycling Tour
The Limestone Cycling Tour is a premier organized Kentucky ride offering four routes including a Century, Metric century and 2 shorter routes through Mason County, KY!
2021 will mark their 13th year for this annual cycling event and 4th year as part of the Kentucky Cycling Challenge. Features a Century, Metric Century, 40 Mile Route and a 25 Mile Route.

April KCC Redbud Ride
The Official Redbud Ride presented by London Downtown, is the first ride of the 2021 Kentucky Cycling Challenge located in London, KY. The Redbud Ride was established in 2006. The ride is inspired by the Redbud trees that surround the routes during early spring.
The Redbud Ride offers four route options: Yellow Route a 23-mile flat course for beginners, Orange Rouge 34-mile at a casual pace for experienced riders, Green Route 72- mile intermediate route mixed with short hills, and the Red Route the Century Ride of 100-mile advanced route considered the pinnacle of the Redbud Ride.
May Horsey Hundred
The Horsey Hundred is a two day event centered on Georgetown, KY on the last weekend in May. The ride features five Saturday routes, including the epic Horsey Hundred Century route, will be going east from Georgetown, and Sunday’s four routes, which generally reflect a shorter and more relaxed day in the saddle, will be going to the west. There are multiple routes for each day with lots of new roads, an amazing variety of scenery, and plenty of intriguing historic sites to explore!

June 26, KCC Licking Valley Century, Campbell
The Cincinnati Cycle Club, in conjunction with the Kentucky Cycling Challenge, presents the Licking Valley Century. Join us on June 26, 2021 in Campbell County, Kentucky for our inaugural event ride that is part of the very popular Kentucky Cycling Challenge series of rides. We have 4 fun route options including; a 29 mile cruise, a 41 mile loop, a 62 mile Metric Century, and the awesome, 101 mile Century route.

August 7 Bourbon and Bluegrass (Owensboro)
The Bourbon & Bluegrass Century is hosted by Bicycle Owensboro to benefit Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 that offers equine assisted activities and therapies to individuals with special needs.
Along with the full century, there will be a 60 mile route, 30 mile route, and a family friendly 15 mile route. Ending with a celebration of bourbon and live bluegrass music!! Not to mention many specials and surprises along the way!!
All proceeds from this event will go to Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc.
